Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA) is one of two main airports in Shanghai, the other being Shanghai Pudong Airport (PVG). Hongqiao Airport is located 13 km (8 miles) west of central Shanghai and is the main hub for China Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Juneyao Airlines. It is also a hub for Air China, China Southern Airlines and Xiamen Airlines.

The airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the main terminal and is used for domestic flights. Terminal 2 is used for international flights and is connected to Terminal 1 by a free shuttle bus. Both terminals offer a wide range of amenities such as restaurants, shops, ATMs, currency exchange and Wi-Fi.

The airport is well connected to the rest of Shanghai and the surrounding areas. There are several bus routes that run from the airport to the city centre, as well as to other areas of Shanghai.
