Croydon is a large town in South London, England, located 9.5 miles (15.3 km) south of Charing Cross. It is the principal settlement of the London Borough of Croydon, and is one of the largest commercial districts outside Central London. Croydon is a major transport hub, with excellent rail, tram and bus links to the rest of London and beyond.

By train, Croydon is served by two National Rail stations – East Croydon and West Croydon. East Croydon is the main station, with regular services to London Bridge, London Victoria, London Blackfriars, Clapham Junction and Gatwick Airport.
