Bountiful is a city located in Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 42,552, a three percent increase over the 2000 figure of 41,301. The city grew rapidly during the suburb growth of the late 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s and was Davis County's largest city until 1985 when it was surpassed by Layton.

The city is located on the western base of the Wasatch Range and is about 10 miles (16 km) north of Salt Lake City. Bountiful is home to a number of historic sites. The Bountiful Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was dedicated in 1995 by Gordon B. Hinckley. Other sites of interest include the Steed Mansion, the oldest brick house in Davis County, and the Bountiful Tabernacle, the oldest church building in the city.

Bountiful is served by the Davis School District, which operates a total of 27 elementary schools, nine middle schools, and four high schools. The city also has a variety of private schools, including Bountiful High School, Bountiful Junior High School, and several elementary schools. The city is also home to the Eaglewood Golf Course, which is a popular destination for golfers.

The city is served by the Bountiful/Davis County Airport, which is located in nearby Woods Cross. The airport offers a variety of services, including charter flights, private aircraft, and general aviation. The airport is also home to the Utah Flight Academy, which provides flight training and aircraft rental services.

Bountiful is served by two major highways, Interstate 15 and U.S. Route 89. The city is also served by public transportation, including the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus system, which provides service to Salt Lake City and other nearby cities. Additionally, the city is served by the Frontrunner commuter rail line, which connects Bountiful to Salt Lake City and other cities along the Wasatch Front.
